This represents for the Euro a move to nearly 50% of the capacity of Wembley stadium, despite the announcement by Prime Minister Boris Johnson of a four-week postponement of the complete lifting of restrictions linked to Covid-19, due to an increase in infections caused by the Delta variant.

Wimbledon also at 50%

The England-Scotland and England-Czech Republic group matches will be played with the reduced size of 22,500 people.
