A combination lottery for visually impaired players' ball games and blind soccer qualifying leagues was held at the Tokyo Paralympics, and Japan, which aims to win medals, has joined the same group as Brazil, which has won four consecutive gold medals.

In blind soccer played by five players, four players, excluding the goalkeeper, are visually impaired players, wearing eye masks and relying on the sound of a ball with a bell and the voice of the guide's instructions.

At the Tokyo Paralympics, it was decided that Japan would participate for the first time in the host country frame, and on the 14th, a combination lottery for the qualifying league was held.

In the qualifying round of the Tokyo tournament, eight teams will be divided into two groups and will play round robin, and the top two teams in the group will advance to the semi-finals.

As a result of the lottery, Japan, which aims to win a medal in the 12th place in the world ranking, has won the gold medal in 4 consecutive tournaments since the 2004 Athens Games, which was adopted for the Paralympics. We are in the same group as China, which has won the silver medal in the world, and France, which is the 14th in the world.

Blind Soccer Qualifiers will begin on August 29th and the final will take place on September 4th.
