The Nordic meeting between Denmark and Finland would be a football party.

But when Christian Eriksen suddenly collapsed on the lawn at the Park in Copenhagen, few could hold back worries and tears.

The 29-year-old star's condition is stable, according to the Danish Football Association, and he is currently at Rigshospitalet Hospital for examinations.

Many supportive messages are sent there - from football profiles and clubs around the world.

"We wish you the best in your recovery, Christian," Arsenal wrote on Twitter.

"All love for you"

West Ham player Jesse Lingard is one of those who expresses his support.

"Thoughts and prayers go to Christian Eriksen and his family," he wrote on Twitter.

Harry Kane, who previously played with Eriksen at Tottenham, also supports via Twitter.

Chris.

I send all love to you and your family.

Be strong."

Former Bolton player Fabrice Muamba suffered a similar incident in an FA Cup match against Tottenham in 2012. He survived, despite having his heart stopped for 78 minutes.

Muamba also sends his prayers;

"Please god," he tweets.
