Sarah Asahina won the gold medal in the world championship of judo held in Hungary, a class over 78 kg for women, by winning the final between Japanese players with Wakaharu Tomita.
Asahina is the first gold medal since the 2018 tournament, and has won four consecutive medals since the 2017 tournament.
