The latest developments in the case of Ferjani Sassi's continuation with Zamalek

The issue of Tunisian star Ferjani Sassi's continuation with the Egyptian Zamalek reached unexpected limits for the "White Castle" fans, most notably the legal prosecution of the player obligating him to complete the season with the team competing for the Egyptian League title.

Al-Watan Sport newspaper quoted Zamalek treasurer, Tariq Jibril, as saying that the club is considering prosecuting the player legally if the current season is not completed, noting that Ferjani Sassi is supposed to return to Egypt from his country in the middle of this month.

He added that Sassi received his dues, and Zamalek will issue an official statement explaining everything related to this file after the deadline for the return of the Tunisian player expires.

It is noteworthy that Sassi tweeted on his account on “Twitter” that his career with Zamalek ended, and he promised the public to reveal the facts soon, in reference to several problems he faced inside the club’s walls and refrained from mentioning them throughout the last period.
