The length manager Daniel Fåhraeus leaves his assignment at the ski association.

Externally, a picture has been painted that it is about him getting a new job, but SVT Sport can reveal that there are also other reasons for leaving.

One reason is that there is a divided view of leadership within the union.

Different views on leadership

According to an email exchange that SVT Sport has taken part in, it is largely a matter of the parties having different views on leadership, something that the federal leadership apparently wants to keep secret.

The union director Ola Strömberg writes: "We have nothing to gain from dwelling on the differences in the leadership parts".

He continues:

"And that we do not breathe or even less talk that the reasons are other than that it was a new exciting job that appeared."

"That's not the problem"

To SVT Sport, Daniel Fåhraeus confirms that there is a shared view of leadership.

- I leave because I got a new chance that comes very rarely up here.

Since we have different views on things is completely normal.

There are some but that is not the problem.

- There is no schism or anything like that behind it, but it is conversations that take place.

You rub things "how are we going to do, what do you think".

Do you and Ola Strömberg have different views on leadership?

- No, it is generally when we talk in the management team.

I am very relationship focused.

I have respect for the fact that if you focus too much on one thing, it is something else that may suffer.

So you want to spend more time on the relationship pieces than the management wants?

- I would say that I am extreme in spending a lot of time building relationships.

It's not so easy that my path is the right one either.

Here I come in and talk about things that have not been up so much and then you have to adapt to it.

SVT Sport is looking for Ola Strömberg for a comment.
