Officially .. “The League” sets the date for the start of the next season
The UAE Professional League has set August 19 as the date for the start of the new season 2021-2022, which includes the Arab Gulf League, the Arabian Gulf Cup, the Arabian Gulf Super Cup and the U-21 League.
The decision of the Association came in coordination with the relevant authorities and in support of the march of our national football team in the double qualifiers for the 2022 World Cup and the 2023 Asian Cup, according to the request of the management of our first national team, and after a series of coordination meetings held by the Department of Competitions and Operations in the Association with representatives of the departments of teams and competitions in the Federation Emirates Football Club.
The coming period will witness coordinating meetings with partners from clubs and representatives of rights-owning channels to adopt the final proposal for the next season's agenda for all tournaments and to set dates according to the best technical, marketing and organizational processes.
