The person who died was a 29-year-old male staff member who is in charge of equipment for the Myanmar national team, and was found lying down in a hotel room in Osaka city where the team is staying after 9 am on the 9th.



It was confirmed that this staff member was having a conversation with other staff members until about 0:30 am on the 9th, but he did not show up for the new coronavirus test scheduled for the morning of the 9th, so he confirmed the room. By the way, he was dead.



The staff was all negative on tests for the new coronavirus up to the 8th.



The exact cause of death is unknown, but according to the Japan Football Association, it is not incidental and is considered to have died of illness.
