In the summer of 2020, the National Sports High School in Fagersta closed with immediate effect.

Two former students had then contacted the Swedish Sports Confederation's whistleblower service and alerted about misconduct.

SVT Sports' review shows that the problems in the education have been going on for almost 20 years and that students must have talked to those responsible about the problems for several years before the education finally closed down.

Felicia Öhlén and Ellika Jansson, two former students, say that in 2017 they told Henrik Junno, head of education at Norra Västmanland's education association, about sexual allusions from leaders.

- I thought it felt like he was listening and said "it's not okay".

Then someone from the union called last summer and asked who we had talked to.

They said that the information had stopped, no one had heard about it, says Ellika Jansson and continues:

- I was surprised.

We still thought we did a good thing and were like this "now we tell this so maybe we will help those who come later, but no", she says.

Do not remember the call

When SVT Sport asks Henrik Junno if he has talked to students who have told about misconduct, he answers that he has not had such a conversation.

We have talked to students who say that they have told you, but that nothing happened.

How is it that?

- I do not know, says the head of education Junno.

You do not remember that it is students who came forward and told things?

- No.

The whistleblower alerted the union

A few years before that, a student also tried to alert the Swedish water ski and wakeboard association, SVWF.

The student must have gone to the sports director Michael Kjellander and told about sexual relations between leaders and students.

 - I can not say that I 1,000 percent remember that the conversation was about it, he says to SVT Sport.

What happened after the call?

- I remember that I brought it up in the RIG group * but where it landed, it landed nowhere.

It stayed there, that's the problem.

In SVT Sports' review, six students talk about sexual relationships between leaders and students.

Bengt Marberg, former head of operations at the national sports high school, says that he did not know that leaders had sex with students.

* RIG group: A group consisting of representatives from the school and the Swedish Water Ski and Wakeboard Association who would develop the business.
