At the Paralympic Games held in Yokohama, the representatives of the Tokyo Paralympics participated, and Tomomi Ishiura of the visually impaired class and Naohide Yamaguchi of the intellectually disabled class marked a good time and headed for the actual performance. I showed a smooth adjustment.

Twenty-three athletes who have been appointed as representatives of the Tokyo tournament participated in the para-swimming tournament held in Yokohama on the 6th.

Of these, Tomomi Ishiura, the most visually impaired class who was appointed as the first Paralympic representative in the fourth selection challenge at the Japan Para Tournament in May, which was the representative selection, is a girl who holds a Japanese record. I participated in the metric freestyle.

Ishiura set a new record in Japan of 30.74 seconds, which is close to 0.04 seconds in the time equivalent to the bronze medal of the world championship two years ago, and showed good adjustments for the Tokyo Paralympics.

In addition, Naohide Yamaguchi, who is in the intellectual disability class, participated in the 100-meter breaststroke, which holds the world record, and when he turned back at a pace that exceeded the world record in the first half, he finished without breaking the form in the second half, reaching the world record of 0 seconds 79. It marked a good time of 1 minute 4:79 approaching.

Yamaguchi said, "I will continue to want to break the record, and I want to work with the awareness that I will carry the Japanese national team on my back."
