The women's national basketball team has clearly regrouped ahead of the European Basketball Championships in France and Spain, which begin on 17 June.

But there was no easy resistance in the form of the host nation France.

The French national team has been in four straight European Championship finals, where they have lost all of them.

Sweden got it tough early against the French who led clearly with 45-27 after half the game.

In the end, France won 71-51.

The best scorer in Sweden was Kalis Loyd with eleven points.

Sweden and France also met on Friday where it was a French victory, 77-61.

Sweden's group matches in the European Championships are against Slovakia on 17 June, Spain on 18 June and against Belarus on 20 June.
