A new giant gaming space has just opened rue de Rivoli.

Espot, co-founded by former PSG president Robin Leproux, aims to appeal to both professionals and amateurs, as well as nostalgia.

2,000 m2 dedicated to video games in the heart of Paris.

Gamers now have their "spot" in Paris.

Espot opened on Wednesday.

It is the paradise of gamers.

Organization of events, arcades, catering, everything is there to satisfy aficionados.

This unique project was launched by the former president of PSG, Robin Leproux.

An immersive place that intends to bring together gaming professionals, but also video game enthusiasts or nostalgics.

In total, 2,000 m2 and an electric blue facade that clashes in the middle of the Haussmann buildings of the first arrondissement of Paris.

"It's a bit new and that's what we expected"

On site, the player can be guided by the catchy music and multicolored neon lights.

Malouane, like others, awaited the opening of this room.

"In the Paris region, there are no such places. It's a bit new and that's what we expected."

No more loneliness for the gamer in his room.

Video game fans can now reunite with their community.

In the basement, a hundred computer screens are aligned in a gigantic room.

On one of them, 16-year-old Mallory is snapped up by

Trackmania

, a car racing game.

And his feeling about the place is "in two words: extremely magnificent".

This futuristic setting plunges him into his first gamer memories.

"I was rocked by my parents, who played a

lot of

video games as a child, like

Zelda

. Lots of very well-known games and I fit in there too."

If success is there, Robin Leproux and his partner, co-founders of Espot, hope to export the model to other European capitals.
