The innovation of the day concerns the maintenance of swimming pools, it is important with the arrival of the beautiful days. We may be done with the smell of chlorine or the taste of salt. A new treatment without any chemicals is coming.
It is above all having had the idea of combining two existing treatments that makes the difference.
This makes it possible to erase the disadvantages of each.
Because there are already pools without chemicals.
Salt pools for example.
Problem: like in the sea, the water tastes salty.
It is not very pleasant: it stings the eyes.
There are also swimming pools disinfected with UV-C lamps, the famous ultra-violet ones that instantly destroy any virus, any microbe.
Problem: The water is only sterilized when it arrives in the filtration system.
So we still have to add a little chlorine to sanitize the water that has not yet been filtered.
By combining the two technologies, UV takes care of most of the disinfection.
And we only need to put a little salt in the basin to make the water disinfectant (around 5 g per liter).
Suddenly, we will hardly feel any salty taste.
There will be no more smell of chlorine, no more itchy eyes, dry skin, etc.
Does it require a lot of maintenance?
No None.
No need to check the chlorine concentration, pH or add products every day.
Everything is automatic.
