The recharging before the Olympics in Tokyo has begun, and during this weekend's premiere of the dressage FEI Nations Cup in French Compiègne, the blue and yellow riders got a taste start.

The Swedish team Saab Team Sweden Dressage, which is the reigning champion, was in second place before Sunday's decision.

Once there, sisters Antonia and Juliette Ramel stood for nice rides.

Juliette and Buriel HK, with their 76.681 percent, finished second while Antonia with Brother De Jeu, 74.787 percent, finished fifth in the individual competition.

When the competition was to be decided on Sunday afternoon, the Swedish team was at the top, and Patrik Kittel and Well Done De La Roche Cmf kept their nerves in check.

With his impressive 81.455 percent, he also won the individual competition, in addition to the team competition.

- He really is a very happy national team captain today.

This was really fun, says Bo Jenå to Ridsport and continues:

- That Patrik goes in and wins in this strong starting field, it is extremely good.

This is also an important observation competition on the way to Tokyo, an important team competition, and it's nice to go in and show the others that we really can.
