Dominic Thiem, double finalist of Roland-Garros, was eliminated in the first round of Roland-Garros after leading two sets to zero against the Spaniard Pablo Andujar (4-6, 5-7, 6-3, 6- 4, 6-4).

The Austrian, in a crisis of confidence for several months, lost after four and a half hours of the match. 

World No. 4 Dominic Thiem, double finalist at Roland Garros, was eliminated in the first round of the Parisian Grand Slam after leading two sets to zero against the Spaniard Pablo Andujar (68th) on Sunday.

Thiem ended up losing 4-6, 5-7, 6-3, 6-4, 6-4 after nearly four and a half hours of match on Philippe-Chatrier court.

The Austrian, looking for his best form, especially mental, for several months, had never been beaten at Roland Garros in seven participations so far.
