Ajman Club bid farewell to the “rooted” Arab school 13 years ago, after the departure of the Egyptian coach Ayman Al-Ramadi, who led him for five continuous seasons in the longest period that the man of the technical area spent with the team continuously, as Al-Ramadi is one of four Arab coaches, in addition to two (Brazilian) coaches. and Portuguese) have supervised the team since 2008.

Ajman officials finally headed to the European School by contracting with Serbian coach Goran Tovidzic, who was announced last Friday to officially take over the task to lead him in the new season 2021-2022.

And the roll on Ajman has relied on Arab coaches in his leadership since his rise to the Arab Gulf League in the 2008-2009 season, and over the 10 seasons he spent among professionals, as the beginning of his appearance with professionals led by Iraqi coach Abdul Wahab Abdul Qadir, who was able to lead the team in the first round to collect 17 points , before he was suddenly dismissed, and the Brazilian Z Mario was contracted in March of 2009. But the coach who had previously won with Al Wasl the league and cup double in the 2005-2006 season, his experience to train Ajman was not successful, so he was sacked in October of the same year due to poor results.

Ajman was forced to return to the Arab school by contracting with Tunisian coach Ghazi Al-Ghairi in December of 2009, but he left at the end of the season after the team was relegated to the amateur league.

Ajman continued with the Arab coaches, so he brought back his Iraqi coach, Abdel Wahab Abdel Qader, who led him in the 2010-2011 season in the amateur league, and was able to return the team to the professional league in the 2011-2012 season, and continued with “Orange” three seasons until the crowning of the Arab Gulf Cup championship in the 2013 season. -2014.

Ajman was satisfied with four continuous seasons with the Iraqi coach Abdel Wahab Abdel Qader, and the task was assigned to the Tunisian coach Fathi Al-Jabal, who led the team in the 2014-2015 season, but he left at the end of the first round due to poor results, to be contracted with the Portuguese coach Manuel Kagoda, who did not keep a seat. Orange in the Arab Gulf League and relegated the team to the amateur league.

Ajman again used the services of Iraqi coach Abdel Wahab Abdel Qader in the 2015-2016 season to return the team to the Arab Gulf League, but he failed to achieve the ambitions of Orange, which prompted Orange to contract with Egyptian coach Ayman Al Ramadi, who took over the task in the 2016-2017 season, and fulfilled the fans’ dream. Orange is back in pro.

Al-Ramadi remained in his position for four seasons in the professional league, as the 2018-2019 season was the most prominent for Ajman in the Arab Gulf League, in which he collected 37 points and ranked seventh.

For his part, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Ajman Club, Ahmed Al-Foara, confirmed that "Orange is very proud of the periods he spent with the Arab coaches, who performed their roles very well, but the contract with Goran Tovedzic, came to a vision that the administration sees as the most appropriate for the next stage."

He told "Emirates Today": "Goran is one of the coaches who has great experience in the Arab Gulf League with the clubs he previously worked with, and he is a personality who has a footballing thought that will be the most suitable for the team in the next stage."

He added: "Ajman's acceptance of 56 goals last season as the weakest line of defense in the tournament, it became necessary to bring in a coach who is good at dealing with the defensive aspects and balancing the style of play, and this is what made the Serbian coach the best choice among the names that the club was thinking about."

Al-Foora confirmed that "the club's management is determined to provide all forms of support to the new coach to achieve the goals that the team aspires to in the next season, foremost of which is not to be exposed to the situation that he suffered last season, in which the team remained in the Arab Gulf League in the last round."
