The Roland-Garros tournament begins this Sunday.
The day will be marked by the entries in the running of Dominic Thiem, Stefanos Tsitsipas, Alexander Zverev or Naomi Osaka.
Nine French people will make their debuts on the Parisian clay courts, including Gilles Simon.

Naomi Osaka, world No. 2 and who has already created controversy by announcing that she would refuse to participate in press conferences, opens the 2021 edition on the Philippe-Chatrier court on Sunday. The Japanese will be opposed to the Romanian Patricia Maria Tig (63rd).
They will succeed on the Central court Dominic Thiem (4th), double finalist 2018 and 2019, then Victoria Azarenka (16th), semi-finalist in 2013, and to finish one of the favorites of the tournament, Stefanos Tsitsipas (5th) who will face Jérémy Chardy (58th).
The Suzanne-Lenglen court will see the entry into the running of Alexander Zverev (6th) against Oscar Otte (152nd) at the end of the program.
Nine French in the running
The short Simonne-Mathieu will be reserved for the French: Clara Burel (146th) will face Danka Kovinic (62nd), then Gilles Simon (69th) will play against Marton Fucsovics (44th), Corentin Moutet (72nd) against Laslo Djere (53rd) and Océane Dodin (115th) will end the day against Madison Keys (24th).
In total, nine French will be in contention on Sunday with also Grégoire Barrère (122nd) against Fabio Fognini (29th) at the opening on the Suzanne-Lenglen court, as well as Dianne Parry (307th) against Aliaksandra Sasnovich (103rd) on the 7, Enzo Couacaud (177th) against Egor Gerasimov (78th) on the 9th and Elsa Jacquemot (493rd) against Elena Rybakina (22nd) on the 14th.
