It was win or lose for Montreal in tonight's NHL meeting.
And with the smallest possible margin - in the sixteenth minute of extra time and in front of the home crowd - Montreal won and saved themselves for another, decisive match against Toronto.
With 3–3 in matches, it will be the night before Tuesday, Swedish time, that the remaining round of 16 is decided.

First match in Canada in front of an audience
The first two periods of the night were goalless before Montreal at the beginning of the third took the lead with 2-0.
But Toronto managed to equalize and took the match to extra time.
Carey Price made 41 saves in the Montreal goal.

The match in Montreal was the first in this year's NHL game in Canada that had to be decided in front of an audience and
2500 spectators had been admitted to the Bell Center.
During the night, the first quarterfinal was also played - between Boston and the New York Islanders.
Boston took home that meeting 5-2 and David Pastrnak scored a hat trick.
