Manchester City's big star suffered a nose fracture and a fracture under his left eye during Saturday's Champions League loss to Chelsea.

The 29-year-old was forced to step off the pitch after around 60 minutes of playing time after he collided with Chelsea defender Antonio Rüdiger.

"I just got back from the hospital.

I have a nose fracture and a fracture under the left eye.

I feel okay now, but am still disappointed with yesterday.

We will come back, "he wrote on Twitter.

Belgium will play their opening match in the European Championship on June 12, but it is still unclear whether De Bruyne will be back until then.
