The hours following Chelsea's Champions League final victory on Saturday were hours of exhilaration and communion in the West London neighborhood.

Smoke, drones and wave of blue jerseys celebrated the victory of the Blues, when others had chosen to experience it directly from Porto.

Chelsea won the Champions League on Saturday night, beating Manchester City 1-0.

This 100% "British" final was played in Porto, Portugal, but it was in London that we vibrated, especially in the chic district of the west of the English capital, where Europe 1.

"The pride of wearing the jersey"

Smoke bombs, a drone show above the legendary Chelsea stadium and hundreds of supporters in blue.

"The Champions League, if you win it once, it's luck. If you win it twice ... Mamma Mia!", Reacts a supporter proudly at the microphone of Europe 1. "PSG does not 'never won, I don't want to be mean, but hey ... "

"This is the biggest tournament! We have to celebrate our home side!" Enthuses another Chelsea supporter.

The Blues are the team adopted by Omar, Maxence and Ryan, three 17-year-old French born in the Chelsea district.

"We will never forget this moment, it's magic," they say.

"Even as French people, the atmosphere is different here. You can feel their pride in wearing the jersey!"

"We are the biggest club in the world"

Around 6,000 Chelsea fans and 6,000 Manchester City fans were able to travel to Porto for the final.

18-year-old Yosef has no regrets in London.

"My friends went there but I couldn't. I prefer to stay here, in front of the Chelsea stadium," he said.

"We are the biggest English club. We are the biggest club in Europe. We are the biggest club in the world!"

The message got through: on Saturday night the victory was blue, and Chelsea supporters will be there to remind everyone year round.
