Peder Fredricson has had two perfect days in France.

The Swedish equestrian star won Friday's 1.50 jump and followed it up with two new victories on Saturday - a great show of strength before the Olympics in Tokyo.

First, Fredricson, on the star horse All In, and the Australian Edwina Tops-Alexander took home the team competition in the Global Champions League for Valkenswaard United.

Two flawless jumps

And in the evening came the highlight of the weekend when Fredricson and Catch Me Not S won the five-star Grand Prix jump in the Global Champions Tour after two flawless jumps.

In the jump he was pitted against five other crews, where compatriot Henrik von Eckermann was the only other rider to once again make a flawless round.

But von Eckermann, on King Edward, had to settle for second place in the time of 35.91 while Fredricson won in 34.98.

"It was a good day"

Third was Frenchman Simon Delestre on Hermes Ryan.

- It was a good day.

I wish every day could be like this, says Peder Fredricson in Eurosport's broadcast after the victory.

- It did not feel like it went very fast, but I kept a good rhythm and did not take too great risks.

And luckily, the others were not as fast.

The Swedish Olympic team will be selected in June.
