Joost Luiten has settled back into the top ten at Made in HimmerLand, a tournament of the European Tour in Denmark.
The Dutch golfer completed a strong third round on Saturday.
The 35-year-old Luiten came to 66 strokes, with which he stayed five strokes under par.
He recorded six birdies and a bogey.
Thanks to that strong third round, Luiten climbs to shared tenth place.
The South Hollander is on a total of 204, nine strokes below par. This puts him five strokes behind the Austrian Bernd Wiesberger, who is alone in the lead.
Luiten started the tournament in Denmark well and was tied for tenth place after the opening round.
After the second day he dropped in the standings, but recovered on Saturday.
Luiten returns after serious stomach complaints
Luiten makes his comeback in Denmark after an absence of more than three weeks.
He returned urgently from Tenerife in the first weekend of May due to severe stomach pains, where he participated in a tournament.
A Spanish doctor immediately wanted to operate on him there, but Luiten opted for a second diagnosis in his own country.
An intervention turned out not to be necessary.
Wil Besseling failed to recover during the third round.
He went around in seventy tricks and is tied for 35th with 207 tricks.
The tournament in Denmark will close on Sunday.
