According to a statement from Jack on Twitter, his opponent must have tested positive for three different banned substances and is therefore prevented from boxing.
Information not yet officially confirmed.
However, it is clear that the match will not be over.
"I will still fight on June 6, my team is looking for a new opponent," 37-year-old Jack wrote on Twitter.
In December 2019, Jack lost to Pascal in a match for the same World Cup title belt, within the organization WBA, and the upcoming fight was intended as a chance for revenge for the Swede.
