The English newspaper "The Sun" revealed that Jesse Lingard, the star of central Manchester United, on loan to West Ham, went to call the police on May 9, after his luxury watch was stolen from the London team's dressing room during the player's competition for a match that brought his West Ham team against Everton in English Premier League.

The British newspaper said: "Jesse was in a difficult situation, as no one had ever heard of something stolen inside the players' locker room during matches."

"The Sun" relied in its report, on a source close to the player, who confirmed that security was spread throughout the London stadium during the match, and the presence of employees guarding the tunnel connecting the stadium floor and the locker rooms, and all the surrounding areas, including the television circuits installed in all Over the place.

The newspaper pointed out that an investigation was opened by the Metropolitan Police into the robbery that took place in the London Stadium, after Lingard reported a report after the end of his participation with his team in a match against Everton on May 9, which ended in favor of West Ham with a clean goal.

"The Sun" shed light on the luxury watch collection owned by Lingard, including the "Patek Philippe Aquanaut" watch, whose price reaches 50 thousand pounds sterling.

Lingard moved last January to West Ham on loan, and he scored nine goals in his 16 matches with the West Ham logo, in addition to making five assists.
