Olympic-ready Angelica Bengtsson has suffered from back problems and has not trained as much pole vaulting in recent times.
But at today's Diamond League gala in Doha, Qatar, the 27-year-old was back.
"I'm not ready at all, but sometimes you just have to throw yourself out and just start.
And I am very tagged, ”she wrote on Instagram before the competition.
Bengtsson flew over both 4.35 and 4.50 but when the bar went up to 4.65 it took a cross stop and she finished eighth and second last in the strong starting field.
Bengtsson's personal record of 4.80 she just broke in Doha when she became World Cup six in 2019 after a pole vault.
