The men's basketball is currently being played with nine teams and eight of them went to the playoffs which have now reached the final.
But if you fast-forward a couple of seasons, it can be a much bigger league.
- We are discussing quite intensively right now with the association and within the league board to expand the league to even sixteen teams.
Just to get value matches at several different levels, says Sundberg.
When do you think we'll see it?
- I think we will see it in two seasons.
Next season it continues with nine teams?
- As it looks right now, no one else has registered an interest in playing in the league.
Sundberg does not think that the league has developed in a desired way commercially.
- I can personally think that it has developed far too little commercially.
The only thing that has become significantly much better is the game itself.
A problem is also the re-growth in Swedish basketball, that we do not get the number of players in Swedish basketball.
