Every day, Anicet Mbida makes us discover an innovation that could well change the way we consume.

This Friday, he is interested in the new Dyson toothbrush, with pressurized water jet to clean between the teeth.

The innovation of the day concerns oral health.

A new generation of electric toothbrushes is coming.

It will now integrate the equivalent of a dental floss to clean between the teeth.

Do not imagine that the dental floss will come out of the end of the brush and get tangled between your teeth, it could be dangerous.

It simply involves adding a dental jet to a conventional electric toothbrush.

On the one hand, the brush will rotate or vibrate to clean the surface of the teeth.

And on the other, we will send small jets of pressurized water between the teeth to dislodge impurities, like dental floss.

It seems silly to bring together two devices that already existed (water flossers and electric toothbrushes).

However, the first products are only now arriving on the market.

How come ?

Was it complicated to merge the two?

We must believe.

The very first product of its kind was launched by Waterpick two years ago.

But it was quickly taken off the market.

Not only could you take electric shocks, but it squirted all over the place when you used it.

They have since perfected their design and are coming back to the market.

Soon, they will also be joined by Philips and by a newcomer in the sector: Dyson, which after vacuum cleaners is interested in toothbrushes.

Obviously, it will be an ultra-high-tech brush.

A sensor will trigger the water jet only between two teeth.

This will prevent splashing all over the bathroom.

It is important to see innovations around dental floss. All dentists will tell you that you have to pass it through your teeth every day. But since it is not practical (we have to contort ourselves in front of the ice), only 11% of French people use it. It is therefore a good thing to group the dental jet and the electric toothbrush together.
