The USA made a goal move in the middle period, when they went from 2-2 to 4-2 after goals from Los Angeles forward Trevor Moore and college player Matthew Beniers.

The USA held off and took their third straight victory after the initial loss against Finland, and now share the lead in the group with Germany.
