Japanese pitcher Ken Kadokura (48), who played an active part in the Korean professional baseball KBO league in the past, has suddenly disappeared, raising concerns.

According to Japanese sports media, Sports Hochi, on the 27th, the Japanese professional baseball team Junichi Dragons announced the resignation of the Kadokura second team pitching coach the day before.

The Junichi club announced that Kadokura had been absent from team training on the 15th.

Without even being contacted, a letter stating'I want to withdraw for personal reasons' was sent to the 2nd Division manager.

After the family confirmed that Kadokura was handwritten, the Junichi club accepted the resignation.

Until now, Kadokura has not been in touch with the club and family, and the whereabouts have not been identified.

An official from the Junichi club said, "I participated in the training until the 14th, and there was no suspicious behavior at all," and said, "It was sudden, so the successor coach did not think of it."

The voices of concern about Kadokura's sudden disappearance are growing.

Takao Ise, who had a relationship with a coach in the KBO League, said, "Kadokura is a very good person."

Kadokura played for the KBO League SK Wyverns (now SSG Landers) and Samsung Lions from 2009 to 2011, leaving an average ERA of 27-17 with an ERA of 4.03 over three years.
