With less than two months before the opening of the Tokyo Olympics, volunteers who are planning to work at competition venues are also preparing for the Games.

In less than two months until the Tokyo Olympics scheduled to be held on July 23, uniforms to be worn on the day are being distributed to tournament volunteers called "field casts" who are active in competition venues in Tokyo.

Masayuki Kobayashi (66) from Itabashi Ward, who came to pick up the uniform on the 26th, is planning to work as a volunteer to transport the people involved in the tournament based on the depot called "Depot".

Prior to this, Mr. Kobayashi completed the first vaccination at the large-scale vaccination center for the new coronavirus vaccine set up by the government in Tokyo on the 24th, and plans to receive the second vaccination at the end of next month.

I was impressed by watching the Tokyo Olympics on TV when I was a kid, and I still remember it strongly. I applied for volunteers saying, "I want to use it for the Games this time," and trained online for about two years. We have continued to prepare, such as receiving.

As soon as Mr. Kobayashi returned home, he put his sleeves on a new uniform and refreshed his feelings.

Mr. Kobayashi said, "If the tournament is held in a way that everyone is satisfied with, I would like it to be held. I want to help you with a little effort. "
