Linn Sömskar, 32, has experience from the national team in cross-country skiing and has in parallel been one of the world's best roller skiers.

Last year, she made her debut as a long-distance skier in Team Nordic Athlete, but suffered serious frostbite injuries already in the first race.

Seamstresses are now ready for a lift in the long distance cup.

She was presented today as a new skier in Team Eksjöhus, a new team where the well-qualified skier Oskar Svärd is team manager.

- I missed a large part of last season due to injuries, which has made me even more motivated this year. Now I also have a better insight into what is required and focus on building the toughness and endurance to take the step up on the podium next season. With the team's support, I aim, not completely unpredictably, for the green sprint jersey, says Sömskar in a press release.
