The Tokyo Olympics Holy Fire Relay will celebrate its second day in Kyoto Prefecture on the 26th, and will be held at the venue in Kameoka City on the 25th, without spectators, following the spread of the new coronavirus infection.

The torch relay in Kyoto Prefecture was canceled on public roads due to the extension of the state of emergency, and was changed to run 50 meters per person at "Prefectural Kyoto Stadium" in Kameoka City for both days. Except for family members, the event is held without the audience.



The second day, the 26th, started at 1:30 pm and won the bronze medal of the Barcelona Olympics in the previous synchronized swimming, which was renamed to Artistic Swimming, and Kunishige Kamamoto, a former Japanese national football team who won the bronze medal at the Mexico Olympics. About 100 people, including Fumiko Okuno, will participate as runners.



And the final runner will run before 6 pm and the torch plate ignition ceremony will be held.



The state of the torch relay will be broadcast live on the Internet.
