It was Anders Eriksson who got to put the match ball, which meant that the gold was in port.

- Yes, I do not know what to say.

It is pure joy and the reward for all the hard work during the season, says Anders Eriksson.

Elias Ranefur was the only one in Halmstad BTK who managed to resist the players in Söderhamn.

He won all his singles in all three final matches, but it was still not enough.

It was also his last match for Halmstad, as he continues in the German league next season.

- It was the only thing that was difficult at the award ceremony, to see Ranefur's tears.

We hang out in our free time and have been best friends for many years, says Anders Eriksson.

"Horrible revenge"

The difference between Halmstad and Söderhamn was not just Anders Eriksson.

Jonatan McDonald was perhaps the one who surprised most of all and won a single in all three matches.

- I was not a regular at the beginning of the series but have gotten better and better and took the chance when I got it, says Jonatan McDonald.

In the first final match, Söderhamn's anchor Viktor Brodd lost both of his singles, but took gruesome revenge in the last two.

- They had read me before the first meeting.

Once home, I analyzed those matches and it gave results, says Viktor Brodd.
