I thank the athletes and the coaches for their participation in the tournament, and I wish them all a wonderful performance. ”

Al-Otaiba extended condolences to the Jordan Boxing Federation, the family of the youth team player Rashid Sweissat, who passed away after participating in the World Youth Championship in Poland, and to the Indian Boxing Federation on the death of “Scati”, the executive director of the Indian Federation who passed away after being infected with the Corona virus, and the attendance was suspended A minute of mourning for the souls of the missing.

He added, "We were keen to organize this tournament for Asian boxers to be ready to compete in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics, and we are counting on them to win the largest number of Olympic medals. They are the ambassadors of our Asian continent."

The championship continues at 6 pm, as the boxers meet the winners of the first round that was held on Monday, in which 46 boxers competed, in 23 matches of various weights.
