The Russian championship is decided over two finals.

The Swedish team CSKA Moscow, with national team players Sabina Jacobsen, Anna Lagerquist in the team and Per Johansson as coach, won the first final meeting with Rostov-Don with 30-23.

This meant that Rostov-Don had seven goals to pick up in the second final meeting.

They did not.

CSKA Moscow lost 26-29 and Jacobsen and others who had to lift the dent and claim the title of Russian league champions.
