The final round of the English Premier League saw Liverpool and Chelsea win the last two qualifying tickets for the Champions League next season, and Manchester City celebrated the crowning of the title in front of its fans at the Etihad Stadium.

Liverpool beat its guests Crystal Palace 2-0, and the team that won the title last season ended their tournament campaign this season in third place with 69 points.

Despite losing to Aston Villa 2-1, Chelsea secured qualification by finishing fourth with 67 points.

Chelsea took advantage of Leicester City's loss at home to Tottenham 4-2, and Leicester - recently crowned FA Cup - ended the season in fifth place with 66 points, and guaranteed presence in the European League Championship, while Tottenham raised its tally to 62 points in seventh place.

Manchester City, who won the league title this season and runner-up Manchester United, had obtained the first two tickets to the Champions League, and the conflict remained between the teams Chelsea, Liverpool and Leicester City, to obtain the last two cards for the continental competition during the final stage of the English League.

Tottenham striker Harry Kane was crowned the top scorer for the English Premier League this season with 23 goals, one goal difference from the Egyptian star of Liverpool, Mohamed Salah.

At the Etihad Stadium, Manchester City celebrated the title in front of its fans, and the players raised the championship shield after their landslide victory over Everton 5-0.

The match was the last appearance of Sergio Aguero at the Etihad Stadium, and the Argentine striker scored two goals, and received a special honor from his teammates and from the fans present on the stadium.

The rest of the matches of the stage resulted in Arsenal defeating at home to Brighton 2-0, and Newcastle defeating Fulham by the same result, Leeds United against West Bromwich Albion 3-1, West Ham United at home to Southampton 3-0, and Manchester United against Wolverhampton 2-1, Sheffield United at home to Burnley 1-0.
