Patrick Lange achieved his first Ironman victory since his World Cup triumph in 2018.
The 34-year-old professional triathlete from Hesse prevailed on Sunday at the Ironman in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA.
Lange needed 7:45:22 hours for the 3.86 kilometers of swimming, 180.2 kilometers of cycling and 42.2 kilometers of running.
After strong performances in the first two sub-disciplines, he put down an outstanding marathon in a personal best of 2:36:46 minutes.
