The meeting pointed out that in order to speed up the "cross-provincial administration" of government services, meet the needs of the masses for marriage registration in non-residential areas, promote the reform of the marriage registration system, and enhance the people's sense of gain and happiness, the State Council agreed to provide services in Liaoning and Shandong provinces. , Guangdong Province, Chongqing Municipality, and Sichuan Province implemented the “cross-provincial connection” of marriage registration and divorce registration for inland residents, and implemented the “cross-provincial connection” of marriage registration for inland residents in Jiangsu Province, Henan Province, Wuhan City, Hubei Province, and Xi’an City, Shaanxi Province. The meeting requested that each pilot area should resolutely shoulder the main responsibility of the trial of "cross-provincial connection of marriage registration", explore the formation of a batch of reproducible and extendable policy measures and institutional mechanisms, in order to implement the "cross-provincial connection of marriage registration" across the country.
