Kosuke Hagino, a swimmer who has been appointed as the representative of the Tokyo Olympics, participated in a tournament held in Tokyo and set his personal best in the non-specialized men's 100-meter breaststroke.

Hagino, who has been appointed as the Olympic representative for the third consecutive Olympic Games in the men's 200-meter individual medley, will continue to make adjustments at the representative training camp held in Tomi City, Nagano Prefecture until the 13th of this month, and will be held in Tokyo on the 16th as part of the training. I participated in a student-centered competition.

Hagino participated in the breaststroke, which is the weakest of the four individual medley swims, and finished third in the 100-meter final with a time of 1'3.33.

Although Hagino, who specializes in individual medley, has rarely participated in this event, he set a time to update his personal best, which he marked in 2014.

Through the national team, Hagino commented, "I was able to have a good race with challenges, and although I was breaststroke, I was able to put out the best. I think it is going well."
