When Jenny Rissveds started the competition season in Huskvarna on May 1, she took a superior victory.

- I'm in the shape of my life.

It's a little scary to say it but I have probably never been in better shape than I am now, she told SVT Sport then.

And now she has also shown class against the international mountain bike opposition.

The 26-year-old settled for third place in Friday's short track competition, the World Cup sprint event, with the British Annie Last.

In the race, the Swede was finally the strongest and sprinted home third place.

A real promotion to the tenth and ninth place in German Albstadt last weekend.

American Haley Batten won the competition, which was her first start in the short track.

Together with Loana Lecomte, France, she took the lead after half the race.

But on the fifth lap the Frenchwoman crashed and Batten was able to drive home the victory without threat, before Lecomte.

Tomorrow the competitions continue and Rissveds gets another chance to settle for the top places.
