A total of five players will have to leave Tre Kronor before the final match against Finland in the Carlson Hockey Games in Prague.

It is goalkeeper Niklas Rubin, defender Gustav Backström and forward trio Fredrik Olofsson, Anton Wedin and William Eklund who are eliminated with just over a week to Sweden's World Cup premiere in Riga.

Wedin and Eklund are both injured, the Swedish Ice Hockey Association states.

- I got a shot on the hand during the match (against the Czech Republic).

This is not a remarkable injury really.

It will heal quite quickly, but now it turned out the way it did, says 18-year-old farmer Eklund to Sportbladet.

Sweden meets Finland today, the match will be broadcast on SVT1 and SVT Play starting at 10.50.
