On the 13th of the first day, only the ignition ceremony of the torch was held due to the influence of the new coronavirus, but on the 14th of the second day, five cities in the western and northern parts of the prefecture except Shimonoseki, where the relay was canceled. I went around.



The torch that started in Ube City was connected at intervals of about 200 meters, and in the morning it visited Ube City and Sanyo Onoda City.

In the afternoon, we entered Nagato City on the Sea of ​​Japan side from Mine City, where Japan's largest karst plateau spreads, and headed for Hagi City, the goal point.



Along the road, there were people cheering with a banner with a message written on it, and a woman in her 30s in Ube said, "I was impressed to see the torch for the first time. I want to pray for the convergence of the new corona." I was talking.

Then, Kazuya Adachi, who was the last torchbearer and has been appointed as the Japan national team for the Tokyo Olympics, canoe slalom kayak single boys, arrived at the final point of Hagi City after 8 pm on the 14th and was on the torch plate. The two-day schedule in Yamaguchi Prefecture was completed with the fire.



Adachi said, "The weight of the fire was transmitted to me, and when I lit the torch, I felt uncomfortable. Next, I was happy to be able to connect the baton."



The Tokyo Olympic Torch Relay will be held in Shimane Prefecture from the 15th.
