Since many NHL teams have played the regular season, Calgary and Vancouver have several games left.

But those matches do not really mean anything in terms of results.

None of the teams can reach the playoffs in the Canadian division anymore.

- It is a different type of match as both teams have missed the playoffs.

But that's what it is.

We want to build something here and get an identity, says goalkeeper Jacob Markström who has now started 14 straight games for his Calgary.

Strong match by Markström

Markström was one of several Swedes who did well at home against Vancouver.

He made 24 saves and just let a puck pass him.

The goal he conceded came after just one minute, but just four minutes later Calgary had turned 2-1.

First Andersson scored his fifth goal of the season and then Andrew Mangiapane filled in.

Elias Lindholm got assist points at Andersson's goal and Joakim Nordström at the other.

It then took until the third period before the next goal.

Then it was Lindholm who came free with the goalkeeper from the offensive blue line and nicely pushed the puck into the crossbar.

4-1 was made by Matthew Tkachuk and even there it was a Swedish assist in the form of Mikael Backlund.
