Fujairah coach Nassif Piawi said, "The players did not fall short in the Khorfakkan match, despite their desperate need to win to avoid relegation."

He stressed after the goalless draw in the 25th round, the day before yesterday, that: Fujairah entered the match with a strong desire to win, and we were able to do so, but the circumstances did not serve us.

He confirmed that Fujairah will enter the Al-Masir match against Ajman in the next round with full focus to achieve victory.

Regarding not involving the Iraqi, Muhammad Mustafa, he said, "The game's tactic needed to strengthen the midfield, and that he needed to involve an experienced player, while Muhammad Mustafa is 20 years old, and he may not be good at dealing with pressure."

For his part, Khorfakkan coach, Brazilian Caio, said at the press conference: "We knew that the match would be difficult, due to the conditions of competition to stay in Fujairah."

He continued, "In the end, a fair tie for both teams."
