Real Madrid, Juventus and FC Barcelona, leaders of the group of rebels who had tried to extricate themselves from the UEFA peloton to create their Super League, defended on Saturday the merits of their project and tackled the European body, including they denounce the "threats".
This sanctioned Friday the nine other clubs at the origin of this competing project of the Champions League.
Despite the withdrawal of the other nine clubs from the Super League project, Barça, Real and Juve intend to "persevere in the pursuit of adequate solutions, despite unacceptable pressures and threats from UEFA", according to a Joint press release posted on the Italian club's website.
