According to The Telegraph, the Premier League plans to impose monetary penalties on the clubs, which will either be applied immediately or will be deducted from the income from the broadcasts of matches.

It is noted that there is no talk of removing points from clubs.

Among the 12 founding clubs of the Super League were six English teams - Manchester City, Arsenal, Manchester United, Tottenham, Chelsea and Liverpool.

Earlier it was reported that the Premier League will impose sanctions on club owners for subsequent attempts to create the Super League.
