The district court has today, after arrest negotiations, made the decision to detain the SHL player.
The crimes against a close relative he is suspected of, assault and rape, are said to have taken place in mid-March.
Near the home arena to the club to which the man belongs, the crimes must have taken place a few hours after a match.
Following today's arrest decision, the club chooses to remove the player from service.
