The reigning champion team, since nothing won the Swedish Championship gold last year, defeated Lekstorp 5-1 in the first Swedish Championship semi-final.

44-year-old Li Fen, European Championship gold medalist in 2013, won both of her matches 3-0 in sets against sisters Leah and Rebecca Muskantor.

Rebecca trains everyday with the players she now meets in the semi, just like Lekstorp's third player Matilda Hansson.

She was the one who made sure that the club that is in its first semifinal so far was not zeroed.

Against Filippa Bergand, Hansson won 11-8 in the fifth and decisive set.

But that was Lekstorp's only victory in the match.

In addition to Fen's two wins, the talent Nomin Baasan, 16, won both his battles at the table, and Bergand one.

Eslöv is now a team victory from going to his eighth straight Swedish Championship final.

The club has won Swedish Championship gold between 2013 and 2019.

In the second semifinal, Halmstad won against Köping 5–3.

The Swedish Championship semi-finals are decided in the best of three matches.
