Major League Baseball Mariners pitcher Yusei Kikuchi started the game against the Astros and won his first victory of the season with one hit in seven innings and a good pitch with no runs.

On the 29th, pitcher Kikuchi started the fifth game of the season against the Astros in his opponent's hometown, Houston.

Pitcher Kikuchi gathered sliders and cut balls low from the beginning and did not allow hits to the opponent's hit line.

He continued to pitch without hits, such as striking out four consecutive batters from the lead batter in the 6th inning, but was hit by a two-base hit from 1 out in the 7th inning.

Even so, he beat the two batters who followed and did not give a score.

Pitcher Kikuchi got off the mound in the 7th inning, defending the 1-point lead that the team gave in the solo home run in the 3rd inning.

The two relief pitchers also didn't score, and the Mariners won 1-0, stopping the losing streak with 4.

Pitcher Kikuchi threw seven innings, hit one hit, walked two, and struck out seven strikeouts, winning his first victory of the season with no runs.

Pitcher Kikuchi's record this season was 1 win and 1 loss.
