It was at the end of the second half, when Sävehof led 26-17, that Jamina Roberts was tackled by Michaela Fransson and fell to the ground.
Afterwards, an angry Roberts shouted a few words that the judges did not like.
Roberts received a blue card, which is a version of a red card which means that the incident is reported and can lead to further punishment.
Fransson was later forced to break the match while she took one shoulder.
Sävehof won 29-22 and now leads the match series with 2-1 in matches in the best of five.
